High Dose is an Alternative Punk Rock Band from South Florida. The band was formed in 2019 on the verge of the pandemic with the objective of creating music we love and record it. The band is currently working hard on their second album which should rock the punk scene at least in South Florida and its surroundings. The band is formed by Gianka (Guitar), Ricky (Bass), Mao (Drums) and Nikko Nightmare (Vocals, Guitar) Stay tuned for our new single, "Against My Soul"    

Gianka is the mastermind behind High Dose, bringing the band’s raw, in-your-face sound to life. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, he carries the fire of the city’s badass punk scene—a scene that shaped his aggressive playing style and high energy. With years of experience shredding in punk bands back home, Gianka knows exactly how to channel the chaos into pure, unapologetic punk rock.

As the founder, guitarist, and main music creator of High Dose, Gianka is the driving force behind the band’s sound and vision. Now, the band is taking things to the next level, producing the band’s upcoming album, "Wasteland"—a record that promises to be loud, fast, and full of rebellion.

Ricky was born to be punk. His dedication and devotion to this band grow stronger every year. Originally from New Jersey, Ricky has always been part of many punk projects across the East Coast and now he is an essential piece of High Dose.

Mauricio "Mao" He is the powerhouse behind the drums for Miami’s relentless punk band, High Dose. Hailing from Medellín, Colombia, Mao has been a driving force in the hardcore punk scene across Latin America, playing with numerous bands and leaving his mark with his raw, high-energy style.

As the newest addition to High Dose, Mao brings an unstoppable intensity that fuels the band’s sound. His unique drumming style is a perfect blend of speed, precision, and pure punk attitude. Simply put—we couldn’t do it without him. His energy is infectious, his passion undeniable, and his beats hit hard.
